Ever heard yourself or someone say they are tired of their own cooking? If your answer is yes, then you are not alone. Surveys showed that when someone says they are tired of their own cooking, They are truly not. They are just tired of the way it’s made. Which is the reason why most people, even after saying they are tired of a dish, will still enjoy it when it is made by another person in a different way.
As usual, I’m here to bring you one of my delicious and home-made meals that will help you change your routine. On today’s menu, I offer you my sweet chili chicken, perfect holidays, and cold days.
Like the name says, it is chicken made with sweet red chili sauce. How is it made?
check the recipes for the details. If you are allergic to any ingredients in the recipes, I strongly suggest you substitute the ingredients with something you feel comfortable eating.
Wash your chicken and place it in a clean pot. If you are not a fan of chicken, you can use turkey or anything that works better for you
Add the first 9 ingredients ( Chicken, seasoning, salt, thyme, garlic puree, poultry seasoning, bay leaves, rosemary, ginger puree)
to your chicken and let it cook for about 5 to 10 minutes. The timing may defer based on the meat of your choice.
After 10 minutes. remove the chicken from the broth.
Now, it is time to add the remaining ingredients.
Mix together some Sweet and spicy chili sauce, some chili flakes and some cooking oil.
Add the mixture to your chicken and let it grill for 20 to 30 minutes on both sides at 350 degrees Celcius.
It’s tasting time. check your oven for readiness. Again keep it mind that your cooking time might take longer, depending on the meat of your choice.
This chicken is perfect for cold days and depending on how hot or spicy you make it, a glass of wine or cocktail is always a good idea. This is perfect for holiday seasons and brings warmth to your family gathering during the cold weathers.
